A journal built around everyday questions
A public-interest journal about the systems, choices and everyday details that affect Indian households.
Why this journal exists
A household decision rarely belongs to one subject. A motorcycle repair affects the money left for school fees. A digital payment needs both technical caution and a useful record. A solar proposal connects a roof, an electricity bill and a financing decision. gatex.click explains these connections in a form readers can use: clear definitions, substantial context, practical comparisons and sources worth opening.
Three complete editions
English, Roman-script Hinglish and Bengali are available throughout the publication. The language links open the same article in another edition. Hinglish uses natural spoken Hindi in Latin script with familiar English terms; the Bengali edition uses Bengali script. Examples and explanations aim to keep the same factual scope across languages rather than turning one edition into a shortened summary.
Bylines and editorial identities
The Indian names used on articles are editorial pen names created for this publication’s six subject desks. Their contributor profiles state this openly. They do not represent independently verified people, medical qualifications, academic affiliations, reporting trips or personal experience. An article’s reliability should be assessed through its reasoning, sources, limits and corrections rather than a fictional biography.
What we publish
This is an explainer publication, not a live breaking-news service. A dense front page makes the library easier to browse; it does not turn evergreen guides into reports of events that did not happen. Original publication and revision dates are shown on each article. Send subject suggestions and corrections to [email protected].
