Cookies & local storage
A short explanation of browser storage in this edition.
Local storage, not tracking
This edition does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Choosing Save article writes article identifiers to localStorage. Unlike a cookie, that storage is not automatically attached to ordinary page requests. You can read articles, follow sources and browse sections without saving a reading list.
How to clear it
Use the Clear list button or your browser’s site-data settings for gatex.click. This affects this browser only. Hosting authentication on a private preview, external sites and your email provider may use their own storage under their own policies.
